How It Works

We want your dress‑shopping experience to feel fun, simple, and stress‑free! Here’s how everything works from your first try‑on to picking up your dream dress.

1. Pick the Dresses You Want to Try On

Start by browsing our collections and making note of the number of each dress you would like to try-on. You can choose as many as you’d like — the more the merrier!

You are welcome to add items to the cart to see a deposit price, but you won’t pay anything yet.

Don’t worry: The checkout button is turned off for Try‑Ons. Adding items to the cart is for your personal reference.

2. Book Your Try-On Appointment

When you're ready, click “Book an Appointment.”

This will take you to a new window and into our appointment system.

Here you will choose the "Rent-A-Dress" option where you will select the dresses you would like to try-on. (If you have saved items in your cart this would be good time to reference back to it.)

You’ll create a quick profile in our booking system (or use your existing one if you’re already a JMA Designs, LLC customer).

You will receive a confirmation text once your appointment has been confirmed by our staff. If we have any questions we will reach out to you before the appointment date.

Save your username and password for next time!

3. We’ll Send a Friendly Reminder

The day before your appointment, we’ll send you a text reminder so you don’t have to worry about forgetting.

4. Come In and Try Everything On

On your appointment day, come visit us at:

5. Ready to Rent Your Dress? Here’s How Rental Works

If you fall in love with a dress (and we hope you do!), renting it is super easy.

You get the dress for 4 days — pickup day through return day.

When you rent, you pay:

The Full Rental Price which includes a dry cleaning fee.
6% sales tax

We will hold your credit card on file and you agree that if you do not return the dress or you return it in damaged condition, the card will be charged the "Buy It" price.

Rental Fee
6% sales tax

Example:
If the dress rental is $150 +6% sales tax = $159.00

6. Caring for Your Dress

We allow small fixes and alterations and our team handles them.
Big changes — like adding sleeves or changing the shape — aren’t allowed.

Please return the dress with only normal wear.
If it has major damage (large stains, tears, missing beads), we may need to count it as a purchase.

7. Running Late?

Life happens!
But to keep things fair for the next renter:

Late returns are $50 per day
If it’s not back by Day 5, the dress becomes yours and the card on file will charged the difference to get to the "Buy It" price.
